(4-5) Washington 0 - (#1 9-0) California 77
SEATTLE - The Golden Bears head north to rainy Seattle to take on Washington. The Huskies had looked good for a time, but the hard times have returned. Washington has struggled to get to .500, but a visit from Cal will surely set them back below .500.
Cal's offense went to work quickly today and completely humiliated Washington at their home field. Kyle Boehm only needed 16 completions to rack up 6TD, and Darrell Green nearly matched him by rushing for 5TD on 16 carries.
Cal's LB corp basically ate Washington alive today, Sarkisian barely knew what hit him. LB Kevin Towers was all over the field, along with Chris Martin, and the Huskies couldn't get anything going on offense. Martin even managed to pour some salt on the wound by setting Cal's new career sack mark with 32. At the final whistle Cal enjoyed a 590-91 advantage in total yards.
