(1-3) UCLA 0 - (#2 4-0) California 44
PASADENA - The Golden Bears made the trip south to face off against the UCLA baby bears, opening conference play. Cal has enjoyed quite a bit of success against UCLA lately, and things probably won't be changing anytime soon.
Cal didn't break 70, but they didn't really need to against a feeble UCLA side. Kyle Boehm threw another INT, but he also threw 3TD. HB Darrell Green continued his good season and helped put away UCLA in the second half.
UCLA's QB Kevin Prince is starting to hate facing the Bears, he should be excited to graduate. Cal's defense didn't do anything spectacular, but they did manage to keep UCLA under wraps and out of the endzone. Kevin Price had a terrible day and spent most of the game trying to peel himself off the Rose Bowl turf.
