AWARDS

Heisman : Marvin Jones, WR (Cal)

Marvin Jones became the second California player to take home the Heisman trophy at an exciting ceremony in NY. Jones had been off the radar for most of the season, but as Cal approached #2 in the rankings the media couldn't ignore him. Part of Beau Sweeney's success is due to Marvin Jones developing into a true #1 WR. Jones caught for at least 100 yards in every single game this season, and in the end he was the clear cut winner. Cal's freshman superstar HB Darrell Green finished third in the voting, so he could be back in NY next year.
